What a monstrous, time consuming and expensive operation a major renovation is!! Another 12 months of frustrating delays have again proved to be very costly for us - so much that we have decided
to scale back procedures and wait unit the economy and our finances begin to improve.
We now have all of the major areas of the hotel operational now. The new Lounge Bar, which now has floor to ceiling glass facing Gladstone Avenue has "opened up" the whole building and has greatly
increased the seating capability. The TAB area has been fully operation for some time now and proved to be favorable to the punters while the Bistro is forging ahead like a rampaging bull! Thanks to
Head Chef Michael D'Amico and his staff's dedication and teamwork we are now having meal periods fully booked and are receiving consistent and positive feedback from customers.
After living in one of the accommodation rooms for nearly 12 months Col & Beryl (Licensee/Owners) have now moved back into their (nearly completed) renovated flat.
We are currently assessing the viability of expanding the courtyard to include a terraced area - builders are estimating the cost of this now so we can consider our options with the bank.
